Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Exhibit in Columbus Public Library

COLUMBUS,Ga (WRBL) —The Columbus Public Library host a Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. exhibit.

To celebrate 70 years of service to the community, the Epsilon Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has opened the “Exhibit for the Ages.” This exhibit is a tribute to the founders, charter members and Amicae of the sorority as one of their international presidents used to live in Columbus.

Jean Jones, the historian of the Columbus chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. says “We wanted to focus this year on the people in the community, our local founders, who are responsible for us being in existence today. We thought it was important that they are more than just a name; that we learn and share what we know about each one of our founders.”

The exhibit is a collaboration between Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and the Zeta Amicae Auxiliary in Columbus. The sorority seeks support from the community as they come out and learn about the founders who are responsible for establishing the sorority in the community of Columbus.

On Feb. 4, the sorority hosted an exhibit opening ceremony and ribbon cutting where sorority members and the community came out to support. The exhibit will be at the Columbus Public Library until Feb. 29 and is open to the regular hours of the library.
