STORY: Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said on Tuesday (October 20) he accepts the criticism after their shock 1-0 home defeat in La Liga as Los Blancos geared up ahead of their opening Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The French coach said captain Sergio Ramos didn't train with the group after an injury against Cadiz and is likely to miss Wednesday's match at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium.

Los Blancos have a crucial week ahead with the Champions clash against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday (October 21) before visiting arch rivals Barcelona in the 'Clasico' next Saturday (October 24).

Asked about possible squad rotations ahead of the 'Clasico', Zidane said they are only preparing for the match against Shakhtar who he said have a very "competitive" squad.
