Zoella, vlogger extraordinaire, has a lot of fans. And when we say a lot, we mean a lot. So it stands to reason that they would stand by her when she’s criticised.

Criticised for doing nothing other than posting a goodnight photo on Snapchat, which showed her wearing a long-sleeved top and a pair of Calvin Klein knickers.

Standard, comfy bed attire for any woman, we might add.

But not everyone thought the snap was so innocent. The picture prompted The Sun to declare the 25-year-old as showing a more “risque” side and the Mail Online to write about her “VERY revealing” selfie - comments that Zoella was not going to lie down and take.

Instead, Zoella, real name Zoe Sugg, accused critics of sexualising her and shaming her body confidence.

“I hope one day we will live in a world where promoting self love & body confidence won’t be sexualised or shamed,” she tweeted.

Unsurprisingly, her fans were quick to support her. Within minutes, men and women alike started uploading selfies of themselves in their pants and pyjamas, using the hashtag #WeStandWithZoella.

The star’s boyfriend, vlogger Alfie Deyes, also got involved, slipping into a pair of Zoe’s pants for a cheeky photo.

The moral of the story? Don’t piss Zoella off. You’ve been warned.
