Thursday

Family Free Night at Children’s Museum of Evansville

5 to 8 p.m., Children’s Museum of Evansville, 22 SE Fifth St. Free.

As part of the Museum Access for All program, this event ensures all children and families have access to cMoe’s hands-on, interactive learning environment.

Music in the Park

6 to 8 p.m., Akin Park. Free.

Enjoy live music by JustUs4, food trucks and a beautiful day outdoors. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy this free, family-friendly event.

Chefs on Parade 

5:30 to 9:30 p.m., 11407 Naas Drive. Tickets are $30 and include admission.

Four new homes will be open for viewing, each with a chef in attendance utilizing the kitchen to prepare cuisine for the guests. Pappa Bear's Catering by Dewig Meats, Hometown Roots, La Campirana and The Wine Down are participating.

Friday

Jurassic Quest

Friday through Sunday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Old National Events Plaza. Admission is $22 for adults and children over 2, $19 for Seniors, $36 for kids to get unlimited rides.

Dinosaur fans will have the chance to take a walk back in time with photorealistic dinosaurs. Admission includes access to the dinosaur and marine exhibits, arts and crafts activities, interactive science and dinosaur shows.

Haynie’s Corner First Friday

5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Haynie’s Corner Arts District. Free.

The family-friendly, monthly First Friday celebration will feature food trucks, live music, art, entertainment and more. This week will feature music from Dave Flick and a family- friendly drag show on Adams Avenue.

Saturday

Willard Library Summer Book Sale

9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Willard Library, 21 N First Ave. Free.

Food trucks and activities for kids will be available as patrons shop. Prices include $1 for hardcovers, 50 cents for paperbacks, and 10-for-$1 children’s books. Preferred payments are cash and checks.

Small Business Saturday

10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 300 Main St. Free.

Celebrate pride and small businesses in Downtown Evansville with River City Pride.

River City Pride Festival & Parade 

11 a.m., Haynie’s Corner. Free.

Kick off Pride Month with River City Pride. The festival begins at Noon and will feature craft vendors, food trucks, entertainment throughout the day, a kids area and a beer garden for attendees 21 and over.

Evansville Disability Resource Fair 

11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Garvin Park. Free.

This resource fair will give information about community resources and services for individuals with disabilities and their families. There will be interactive areas, raffles and food vendors.

The New Zoo Brew!

5 to 8 p.m., Mesker Park Zoo, Tickets are $45.

This after-hours event features multiple hang-out spaces, each with their own variety of samplings, live music, yard games and one-on-one interactives with experts.

Red Curb Comedy Night

8 p.m., Evansville Civic Theatre., Tickets are $25 online and $30 at the door.

Stand-up comedy with three headliners: Josh Springer, Ray Danger Hensley and Tyson Cox.

Sunday

An Evening with Michael Davis

7 p.m., Central High School Auditorium, 5400 First Ave, Free

The Evansville Symphonic Band is celebrating and kicking off its 75th anniversary concert series with renowned trombonist Michael Davis.
