Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently in New York City, their first trip as a couple since welcoming their daughter Lilibet Diana back in June. The pair stepped out on September 23 to meet with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Kathy Hochul for a visit to One World Observatory, and then gathered with world leaders, health officials, and experts for a "dialogue on the urgent need to achieve global vaccine equity," according to royal reporter Omid Scobie.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed throughout their busy day, holding a bunch of official folders as well as their laptops.

It's unclear exactly how long the pair will be in New York City, but they're expected to make another appearance in Central Park on September 25, where they’ll join Global Citizen Live’s 24-hour broadcast to promote vaccine equity.

According to Global Citizen, the campaign is “calling on G7 countries (the world’s wealthiest nations) and the European Union to immediately share at least 1 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses with those most in need and support calls for a waiver on COVID-19 vaccine intellectual property rights. The campaign is also calling on Pfizer, BioNTech, and Moderna to share mRNA technology with the new World Health Organization–backed transfer hub based in South Africa.”

Back in May, the duke and duchess co-chaired Global Citizen’s VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World, where Prince Harry said “The virus does not respect borders, and access to the vaccine cannot be determined by geography. It must be accepted as a basic right for all and that is our starting point.”
