With Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins out due to injury, the Jordan Poole show took over on Sunday night in Canada. While leading the Golden State Warriors to a much-needed road win, Poole torched the Toronto Raptors for a new career-high in scoring.

The fourth-year guard shined with a game-high 43 points on 14-of-23 shooting from the floor to go along with six assists and a steal and an assist in 35 minutes. Poole did his best Curry impression, draining five triples on 11 attempts from deep.

Poole’s career-high performance helped the Warriors snap a three-game losing slide to start their six-game road swing. Golden State’s win over Toronto on Sunday was just their third road win of the season.

In his fourth season, the 23-year-old guard is averaging 19 points on 43.6% shooting from the field with 4.6 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game. Since entering the starting lineup for an injured Andrew Wiggins on December 3 against the Houston Rockets, Poole is averaging 26.3 points on 45.5% shooting from the floor with 4.9 assists in 33.2 minutes per contest.

The Warriors will continue to lean on Poole with Curry out for their upcoming slate. After their win against the Raptors, the Warriors will start a road back-to-back on Tuesday against the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets.
