Echoing recent strategy, tough, new Gingrich web ad ties Romney to Obama

A new, hard-hitting ad released Thursday night by the Gingrich campaign attempts to tie Mitt Romney to Barack Obama on several issues, and zeroes in on a recent interview with George Soros in which the  liberal billionaire said there "isn't all that much difference" between the two men.

The video, currently unlisted on the campaign's YouTube channel, aligns with Gingrich's recent messaging strategy. The candidate has recently been tying together the positions of his opponent with the current president.

The video focuses on Romney's past positions on abortion, health care and the Second Amendment, as well as his support from Wall Street donors.
