Joe Biden for president? He won’t nix a 2016 campaign

Joe Biden's biggest priority in the campaign arena may be President Obama's 2012 re-election, but that doesn't mean the vice president isn't thinking ahead.

Biden revealed Sunday in an interview with CNN "State of the Union" host Candy Crowley that he won't close the door to a 2016 campaign.

"I'm in... the best shape I've been in my life. I'm doing pretty well. I'm enjoying what I'm doing," Biden said. "And as long as I do, I'm going to continue to do it."

"You're not closing that door?" Crowley asked about 2016.

"I'm not closing it," he responded.

"My one focus now is getting the president re-elected," he said when asked about a potential 2016 bid. But then Biden added, "And I'll make up my mind on that later" with regard to 2016.

For now, Biden said, things are they should be: "We've got the order right: President--Obama; Vice President--Biden.
