Liveblogging the South Carolina primary with Yahoo News, ABC News, Jeff Greenfield & Thomas Edsall

Romney Santorum wins Iowa! Romney wins New Hampshire! Now who will win South Carolina?

What was once considered unprecedented--a non-incumbent Republican presidential candidate winning both Iowa and New Hampshire--turned out to be something that didn't happen. But Saturday's primary in South Carolina might lead to almost the opposite--but still unprecedented--situation: Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina might be won by three different candidates.

The last voters in South Carolina will cast their ballots at 7 p.m. ET. As the results come in on Saturday night, read and contribute to our liveblog above, which will feature real-time discussion and analysis from Yahoo News and ABC News journalists, including David Chalian, the Washington bureau chief for Yahoo News; Rick Klein, the senior Washington editor for ABC News' "World News with Diane Sawyer"; Chris Suellentrop, the deputy editor for blogs--including the Ticket--at Yahoo News; and Z. Byron Wolf, the political editor of ABCNews.com and a deputy political director for ABC News. The live blog also features tweets from Yahoo News reporters on the ground in South Carolina.

Also participating will be Jeff Greenfield and Thomas B. Edsall.

Greenfield, a veteran political correspondent and the host of PBS' "Need to Know," is the author, most recently, of Then Everything Changed, which will be published in paperback next month.

Edsall, a journalism professor at Columbia University and an online columnist for the "Campaign Stops" blog at The New York Times, is the author of The Age of Austerity: How Scarcity Will Remake American Politics.

Reader comments to the liveblog will be moderated by Chris Wilson, the editor of the Signal, the Yahoo News predictions blog.

Our discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.
