The GOP hopefuls will be focused this weekend on the Kansas caucuses, which are Saturday, and the Alabama and Mississippi primaries, which are Tuesday.
Delegate frontrunner Mitt Romney will be in Mississippi and Alabama on Friday. He has a town hall meeting in Jackson, Miss., at 8:25 a.m. CST and an event in Birmingham, Ala., at 2:30 p.m. CST. There are 47 delegates at stake in Alabama and 37 in Mississippi.
Also on Friday, Romney's son Matt will meet GOP leadership in the Northern Mariana Islands, which holds caucuses on Saturday. Delegates at stake there? Six. And tomorrow Matt will be in Guam, which also has caucuses on Saturday and also has six delegates up for grabs.
Rick Santorum campaigns in Alabama and Kansas on Friday. He has "Rallies for Rick" in Mobile, Ala., at 9 a.m. CST, in Topeka, Kan., at 1:30 PM CST and in Wichita, Kan., 4 p.m. CST. Santorum will be in Missouri on Saturday, and in Tennessee on Sunday.
Newt Gingrich campaigns in Alabama and Mississippi on Friday. Gingrich canceled events in Kansas to focus on the southern states. He and his wife Callista hold rallies in Meridian, Miss., at 9:30 a.m CST, in Ellisville, Miss., at 12 p.m. CST, in Gulfport, Miss., at 3:30 p.m. CST and in Mobile, Ala., at 7 p.m. CST.
And Ron Paul, still looking for a win, will be in Kansas on Friday and in Missouri on Saturday. Paul holds a town hall meeting Friday in Topeka at 12:30 p.m. CST, gives a speech in Wichita at 3:30 p.m. CST, and wraps up the day with another town hall in Lawrence at 7:30 p.m. CST.
President Obama on Friday will visit the Rolls-Royce Crosspointe facility in Prince George, Va, and deliver remarks on the economy at 12:30 p.m. EST. He is certain to mention the February jobless number, which comes out at 8:30 a.m. EST.
Later Obama travels to Houston to deliver remarks at two campaign events. He'll be at Minute Maid Park at 5:50 p.m. CST and then at a private residence at 7:50 p.m. CST.
And then there is this: Julianne Moore stars as Sarah Palin in "Game Change," an HBO movie that airs at 9 p.m. EST Saturday. The movie is based on a book with the same title by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.
