3 officers suspended for video of Arkansas arrest

A trio of Arkansas police officers have been temporarily relieved of their duties, pending an investigation, after a bystander captured chilling video of the officers holding down a man and repeatedly punching him in his head, driving a knee into his back and slamming his head on the concrete pavement during an arrest Sunday morning.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office confirmed Sunday afternoon that two of the officers in the video were deputies from their department.

- Three police officers have now been suspended after a bystander caught video of them repeatedly punching and kicking someone while they were arresting them in Arkansas. The video, which has been viewed more than 6 million times in 24 hours, shows the officers hitting the man at least 27 times before the woman recording actually yells at them to stop. Officials say the suspect-- pictured right here-- was allegedly wanted for threatening a gas station employee in a nearby town. The suspect allegedly attacked the officers, and that's what led to this altercation which we see in the video. The state's Governor, Asa Hutchinson, said he is aware of the incident and confirmed that the state police is now investigating the incident.
