At the moment, drivers must be a member of the Arizona National Guard or have received an honorable discharge to purchase and display the affiliated license plate.

This new plate, however, may be purchased by any Arizona driver regardless of relation to the National Guard. A portion of the purchase of one of these plates will also be donated to the Arizona National Guard.

The online poll opened at the beginning of April for Arizona residents to vote for their favorite license plate design and the winner will be announced on Saturday, April 20.
