City of Oshkosh still has over $2 million ARPA funds to spend
OSHKOSH ― Council wants to dish out more than $2 million ... right now!
City of Oshkosh is asking local entities to submit funding proposals before March to make use of its current allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds.
According to a recent news release, the city “will give preference to projects that can have all funds expended through Dec. 31, 2024” to ensure the community can utilize all of its ARPA funding.

The city received about $20.5 million in funding under ARPA before the common council allocated $5.1 million of that grant to non-profit entities and non-infrastructure purposes.
Council estimates it has administered $2,775,480 of that $5.1 million, leaving around $2,350,000 still to be allotted.
The city has advised that entities that may have previously applied for ARPA funding are still eligible to submit a new application.

The application deadline is March 1, and local entities seeking further information are being asked to visit the city’s website “Hot Topics” section at oshkoshwi.gov.
Council will also host two information sessions at City Hall at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 and 10 a.m. Feb. 16.
A further social media live Q&A session on Oshkosh Media and the city’s Facebook page will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 16.
