Flights canceled at Chicago O'Hare, Midway due to winter storm. Is CVG affected?

Three flights to Chicago from the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport have been canceled Friday morning due to a winter storm warning sweeping the Midwest.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the agency responsible for civil aviation safety, departures to Chicago O'Hare International Airport are grounded due to snow or ice. Over 600 flights have since been canceled across O'Hare and Midway International airports, with most of those cancellations occurring at O'Hare, WMAQ-TV (Channel 5) in Chicago reports.

A Southwest Airlines flight scheduled to depart from CVG at 8:15 a.m. to Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) has been canceled. Two United Airlines flights, scheduled to depart at 11:05 a.m. and 11:16 a.m., from CVG to ORD, have also been canceled.

Afternoon and evening flights from CVG to Chicago O'Hare and Midway are still scheduled to depart on time.

Some arrivals from ORD are still scheduled to arrive on time. But a 10:51 a.m. American Airlines flight from ORD, a 12:40 p.m. Southwest Airlines flight from MDW, and a 1:01 p.m. United Airlines flight from ORD have all been stopped.
