Rob Ninkovich and Matt Light stop by Sagres Restaurant

Sagres Restaurant, 177 Columbia St., Fall River, recently had some special visitors from the NFL. Rob Ninkovich and Matt Light were spotted recently at the Portuguese restaurant. Sagres shared the news in a Facebook post. Ninkovich is a former outside linebacker. He played in the NFL for 11 seasons; he was with the New England Patriots for eight seasons, and won two Super Bowls with them. He retired following the 2016 season. Light spent his entire 11-year NFL career as an offensive tackle for the Patriots, and won three Super Bowls with them. He officially retired in 2012.

Wonka brunch at Barrett’s Alehouse

You’ll be in a world of pure imagination at the Wonka brunch at Barrett’s Alehouse, 4171 N. Main St., Fall River. The brunch will be held on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a themed menu, as well as cocktails and mocktails, a kids’ brunch buffet, and a little something special for a golden ticket winner. There will also be a Wonka meet and greet. Burn Book brunch at Barrett’s Waterfront

The brunch, inspired by the movie “Mean Girls,” will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a themed menu and cocktails, as well as trivia and photo ops. 1990s murder mystery dinner at White’s of Westport

Check out an all-new murder mystery dinner at White’s of Westport, 66 State Rd., on Saturday, Jan. 13, and Saturday, Feb. 24. “Good Riddance: A Gnarly 1990s Murder Mystery, Dude!” begins at 6:30 p.m. You’ll have to channel your inner 90s kid to help put the clues together and solve the mystery, while enjoying a three-course dinner.
