Grab your spot at these Galentine's Day events in mid-Hudson Valley

Valentine's Day doesn't always have to signify celebrating couples. Embracing Galentine's Day — typically celebrated Feb. 13 — with your friends and appreciating those relationships can be just as meaningful.

This year the Hudson Valley is hosting an array of Galentine's Day-themed events, as well as events that can be turned into a Galentine's Day celebration.

Whether you'd like to explore your creative side or grab a drink with your girls, the Poughkeepsie Journal has curated a list of things to do this holiday.

Galentine's Day Networking at Ruby Restaurant and Bar

If you and your friends are career-oriented and looking to meet new people in the Hudson Valley, Ruby Restaurant and Bar in New Paltz and Hudson Valley Women in Business are hosting a "Galentine's Speed Networking Extravaganza."
