SCNPP seeks to empower resident leaders to strengthen their neighborhoods from within, using a collaborative, data-driven approach to build upon community assets and address local issues.

The training is designed to train current and future Stark County Neighborhood Association leaders in many aspects of neighborhood leadership and association development, including leadership assessment, neighborhood association structure, team building, strategic planning and asset mapping.

This year’s four-session training will be held at the Foundations Centre at 400 Market Avenue North in downtown Canton in the first-floor conference room from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on:

  • Monday, Feb. 12 – Session 1

  • Monday, Feb. 26 – Session 2

  • Monday, March 11 – Session 3

  • Monday, March 25 – Session 4

Participants must complete all four sessions to graduate.

Enrollment is limited to the first 20 people. Visit www.communitybuildingpartnership.org/nlt to register online or access a printable registration form. The deadline to enroll is Feb. 9.

Individuals who do not receive a spot in this year’s training will be placed on a waiting list and contacted about future opportunities.
