Need help paying for Hurricane Ian repairs? Volusia County offers in-person guidance

County residents still have time to apply for a Hurricane Ian repair program, and officials will be available at multiple locations this month to help applicants.

Employees with the county government's Transform386 program will be on hand at multiple sites this month to help people apply for the Hurricane Ian Homeowner Recovery Program.

"These efforts aim to help individuals apply for aid and allow those who have submitted applications but need to provide additional documentation to do so in person," according to the county.

The Hurricane Ian Homeowner Recovery Program will fund repairs and provide reimbursements for repair expenses. People must meet income criteria and other requirements to be eligible.
