In other real estate news, you may already know that NYU Langone Health is building a new medical office tower in West Palm Beach. But what you didn't know is that it's doing so with a sizable $75 million gift from a part-time Palm Beacher whose pockets are deeper than the Grand Canyon, Mariana Trench and Oak Island's buried treasure combined.

Also, the City of West Palm Beach is helping rebuild the LGBTQ bar HG Roosters, Greenacres is betting on pickleball to put it on the map, and Sylvester Stallone says goodbye to California and hello, permanently, to Palm Beach.

While some cities are bellyaching about empty office buildings, West Palm Beach seems to be filling new Class-A space just fine. The 25-story One Flagler building at the foot of the Royal Park Bridge across from the promised land of Palm Beach is 75% leased.

High-end amenities for tenants include concierge services that will make dinner reservations, help with home relocations, end global warming and be the plus-one at that wedding you don't want to attend. 🌎🤵👰

Ryan Serhant's team is listing a West Palm Beach home that can be yours for $62,500 a month

The 2023 Kips Bay Decorator Show House at 3240 N. Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach is available for rent for $62,500 per month.

The Dirt is obsessed with the pink bathroom in last year's 2023 Kips Bay Decorator Show House, which can be yours for the low, low price of $62,500 per month. That's for the whole house, not just the bathroom. The team at former Million Dollar Listing New York star Ryan Serhant's Delray Beach office has the listing.

Think the rent's a little steep? Well, who do you think is moving into One Flagler? It's not your Average Joe working in some cubicle on Belvedere and Dixie quibbling over whether cable is included. This is Wall Street South baby!

Rocky's leaving the Golden State for the Sunshine State

Sylvester Stallone and wife Jennifer Flavin recently shot scenes for their reality series "The Family Stallone" at Joseph's Classic Market in West Palm Beach.

Anyone who watched the Sylvester Stallone documentary on Netflix (and yes, I did, and it was good, so don't judge) knew something was afoot because it was obvious he was moving out of somewhere. Professional movers were carefully packing up his memorabilia, of which there was mucho. Now, we know it was likely his California home.

The "Rocky" star said on a recent edition of his reality television series "The Family Stallone" that he and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, are relocating permanently to Florida. The couple have a house in Palm Beach that they bought in 2020. Stallone has been spotted around town and was at Pig Beach BBQ in West Palm Beach this month where he graciously posed for photos with fans. We should all give the guy some breathing room, don't you think? If he's willing to venture across the bridge to the mainland, let's act like the sophisticated folks we are and stop with all the drooling.

Oceanfront home in Palm Beach lists for $59 million

Built in 2018, an oceanfront house at 200 S. Ocean Blvd. in Palm Beach has entered the market at $59 million as the fourth-highest-priced residence in the local multiple listing service.

I once interviewed a Palm Beacher who bought an oceanfront home and was very clear on the fact that it was on the beach, not across from the beach, not on a road that was next to the beach, it was on the beach. I wonder if that's happy hour talk on the island — debating about what is beachfront and what isn't?

Anyway, an oceanfront home across from Midtown Beach hit the market recently for $59 million, which is about twice the amount it was listed for in October 2019. But that was way back when beachfront homes were selling at blue light-special pre-pandemic pricing. As Realtors often say, they aren't making any more waterfront.

Live lightly.
