Multiple roads closed in Washington County due to storm damage: What to know

Several roads in the area have been temporarily closed due to the weather system that impacted Washington County on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

Local authorities and the Washington County Highway Department have closed the following roads to ensure public safety:

The following roads are currently closed:

  • Cresspond Road

  • Wishard Road

  • Kemps Mill Road at the old mill

  • Independence Road

The following roads have been reopened:

  • Ashton Road

Motorists are asked to adhere to the road closures and detour signs.
