North Jersey schools announce delayed openings for Wednesday, Jan. 17. Check the list

With freezing temperatures following Tuesday snowstorm and predicted icy roads conditions, some schools are calling for delayed openings on Wednesday. One school will be closed.

"Freezing rain and dropping temps are causing black ice conditions across NJ," the New Jersey State Police warned on social media.

The treacherous conditions forced some schools to cancel after-school activities on Tuesday.
