It's never too early to start planning your summer vacation, and what better place to travel to than Ocean City, Maryland, also known as one of the top 10 best beaches in the country?
Tripadvisor recently unveiled its 2024 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best winners, with popular Eastern Shore destination Ocean City ranking No. 10 out of 25 for best United States beaches.
Travelers' Choice Awards celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel, according to Tripadvisor.

"It's is awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. Out of our 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone," the American company said online.

What led to Ocean City's inclusion in the top 10?
Ocean City is a suitable family destination, as per data from travelers on Tripadvisor.com.
"Ocean City Beach is a family-friendly beach with incredible views. The wide shore has lots of space to spread out. Plus, there are lifeguards on duty, and tons of food options. Hit the northern end for a more peaceful vibe, or the Boardwalk for something more lively," Tripadvisor said.
The resort town's 10-mile stretch of sandy beach offers unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean.

No matter the reason or season, local mom-and-pop-shops, the historic Boardwalk, and community-centered festivals and events beckon plenty of tourists of all ages year-round.
