State Street Group completes loft project in Jackson. See the details
Luxury living in Jackson is getting a boost, and the results are sky high.
The State Street Group has completed 20 new luxury loft apartments as well as other amenities at its Quarter House along Lakeland Drive in East Jackson.
The Quarter House is a luxury apartment community that was named Mississippi Apartment Association’s 2022 “Property of the Year.” The four-story community currently offers unique amenities, and the planned additions will further draw residents seeking upscale modern living.
The expansion includes 20 new luxury loft apartments that feature the high-end finishes seen in existing units. Unique to those units, however, will be ceiling heights exceeding 10 feet and a landscaped breezeway. Other improvements include a landscaped water feature with a pedestrian boardwalk and a pickle-ball court for residents.
“StateStreet Group is excited to introduce The Quarter Lofts to our market,” SSG President Justin Peterson said in a statement. “This project represents our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional living spaces in the Jackson area that combine luxury, comfort and convenience.”
With the additions, the Quarter House now offers 158 luxury units, including one, two and three-bedroom floor plans. The complex was originally completed in 2021. The State Street Group also developed The Meridian at Fondren.
“Our residents have access to features including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a coffee bar and sparkling water stations, a pet park and grooming station and a resort-style pool,” said Danielle Boren, SSG Property Manager for The Quarter.
This is the third phase of the project.

The architecture of the second and third phases departs from the New Orleans style of the first phase. It is a traditional clean and classic design.
The four-story complex rises above and from behind the two-story Quarter, which fronts Lakeland.
The group previously converted upstairs office space into 12 one- and two-bedroom loft apartments at The Quarter as part of the overall renovation of the retail and office space facility.
The Quarter Lofts units range from 880 square feet to 1,250 square feet and start at $1,350. There are also one-bedroom apartments ranging from 650 to 1,030 square feet and starting at $1,150.
SSG plans to add other amenities going forward, with future projects to include a pickleball court and a landscaped water feature with a pedestrian boardwalk.
The News Orleans French Quarter-style shopping area was built in the 1970s, before the Easter Flood of 1979 ravaged it and much of Jackson.
