2024 Downtown Akron Lunar New Year Celebration

3:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the Akron Civic Theatre, 182 S. Main St. $5 tickets (plus fees) can be purchased here; tickets can be purchased at the Civic box office (no fees) Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free METRO ride downtown with flyer (paper or digital) to show to bus operator. Celebration will include food from downtown restaurants, information on the Lunar Year, crafts, performances and more. Culture fair runs at the Knight Stage and Civic lobby from 3:30-6 p.m. Performances begin on the main stage at 6 p.m. Fireworks at 8 p.m. downtownakron.com.
