'I thought it was a funny idea:' A man took a bath in the back of an FAU science classroom
Anatomy, physiology … and a bath?.
During a science class at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton last week, a man walked into the room and, in swim trunks and standing in a red plastic bucket he took with him, proceeded to take a bath.
“You can shower as much as you want,” class professor Paula Wazir said to the man, as she called security, "Just be quiet.”
The man, while scrubbing his back and singing on and off, made a sign that he would "zip his lips."
The incident happened Wednesday, Jan. 24, with students in class. The man spent about 15 minutes bathing during the class.
Was it an initiation ritual? A class prank? Someone who just felt the need to get clean?
Turns out the man was YouTuber Chibu Dunga, who said he is not a student at the school and just wanted to do it for a laugh.
“The whole point of it was just to put a smile on people’s faces,” Dunga, who’s a Twitch streamer as well, told The Palm Beach Post.
One student in the class who did not want to be identified said she was frightened at first.
“I didn’t think it was a prank,” she said. “I thought it was someone mentally unstable.”

The student said she received some negative comments on Instagram for speaking about the prank.
“I was sitting in the front, and honestly ducked down when I saw it happening out of the corner of my eye in the back of the room,” she said.
After realizing what it was, she said she could laugh about the situation.
“Funny watching the videos after,” she said. “But while it was happening, it’s a scary thought that just anyone can walk into a classroom on campus since the campus is open.”

Dunga walked into the classroom about 20 minutes before the class ended.
Waziry can be heard in videos taken by students, “I don’t have that much time and I have a lot to cover.”
Waziry is also heard asking somebody to call security.
“I just did the prank because I thought it was a funny idea,” he said. “Nobody ever did that before. I just thought of it and I just did it immediately. I didn’t mean to harm anyone.”
