The annual Rochester Polar Plunge took place today at Ontario Beach Park.
The event event is a fundraiser for the New York Special Olympics, and each participant must raise at least $100.
The Plunge was held alongside the city’s 38th annual Lakeside Winter Celebration, featuring ice-sculpture contests, the "Chilly" Chili Challenge, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, food and drink, and more.
