Worldwide broadcasts to look forward to in 2024 from the Church of Jesus Christ

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a global network of members and leadership, which makes broadcast events a regular form of communication and learning.

Twice a year, once in April and then again in October, the church’s general conference enables the worldwide congregation to hear from prophets, apostles and other church leaders.

Throughout 2024, several additional worldwide broadcast events will be available for members to tune in to and use as resources later.

“The purpose of each event is to provide inspiration and instruction to help individuals and families become closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ,” the church wrote in a press release.

What live events are scheduled for 2024?

  • Two worldwide events for youth are planned in 2024, one on Jan. 28 to introduce the new theme, “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ,” and the other on Oct. 27.

  • A worldwide devotional for young adults will take place three times in the upcoming year on Feb. 4., May 5 and Nov. 3.

  • RootsTech Family History Conference and Family Discovery Session will span from Feb. 29 to March 2.

  • General conference 2024 is scheduled for April 6 and 7 and then Oct. 5 and 6.

  • The first presidency’s Christmas devotional for all ages will be shared on Dec. 8.

  • Seminaries and institutes annual broadcast — Jan. 26 and a date to be announced in November.

  • Temple and family history leadership instruction — March 1.

  • Friend to Friend for Children — March 9 and Sept. 14.

  • An Easter Sunday message — March 31.

  • CES religious educators conference — June 18.

  • New mission leaders seminar — June 20-23.

  • Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square summer concert — July 19-20.

  • Youth music and arts festival — Aug. 10.

  • Luz de las Naciones — a date to be announced in November.

  • Church music festival at Temple Square — Nov. 16.

  • Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert at Temple Square — Dec. 12-14.

  • Christmas Day message — Dec. 25.
