WYCKOFF — Roger Lane, a former New Milford mayor and councilman, has been tapped to fill a vacancy on the Township Committee.

Lane, 69, was sworn in last week. He succeeds former Public Works Manager Scott Fisher, who resigned Dec. 30 after running unopposed for a three-year term in November. Fisher cited "recent family matters" that required a move out of the township for his unexpected departure.
