Full video of Rick Santorum’s Alabama and Mississippi speech: ‘The time is now for conservatives to pull together’

A jubilant Rick Santorum briefly addressed supporters in Lafayette, La. Tuesday night after winning the Alabama primary, just as it was becoming clear he would also win an upset victory in Mississippi as well.

"The time is now for conservativs to pull together," he said. "The time is now to make sure, make sure that we have the best chance to win this election, and the best chance to win this election is to nominate a conservative who can go against Barack Obama who can take him on on every issue." Newt Gingrich placed second in both states, just ahead of Mitt Romney.
