Former South Carolina governor and Trump-era United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley has been polling second to Trump in New Hampshire, though she was edged out by DeSantis for second place in Iowa. A CNN and University of New Hampshire poll conducted between Jan. 4 and Jan. 8 reported 39% of likely Republican New Hampshire primary voters would support Trump, while Haley trailed him at 32%.

Polling averages from RealClear Politics show a different story, however. Between Jan. 3 and Jan. 10, the organization found that Trump was averaging 43.5% in New Hampshire Republican primary polls, while Haley averaged 29.3%. Behind them were now-former GOP 2024 presidential candidate Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former biotech executive and author Vivek Ramaswamy, who dropped out of the race after Iowa.

Haley, who received a key New Hampshire endorsement from Gov. Chris Sununu, was set to hold a Tuesday night event at Bretton Woods.

On Wednesday, Haley and Sununu will hold a rally at the Rochester American Legion at 7 p.m.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will hold an event at Wally's at Hampton Beach at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.
