Nissan, Hyundai, Kia recalling almost 62,000 vehicles. Here's which models are included

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a list of recalls Monday, including recalls to Nissans, Hyundais and Kias.

Nissan recalls Leafs

Nissan of North America is recalling 57,914 Nissan Leafs for a rear camera issue. The model years included in the recall are from 2018 to 2022.

The Leafs' rearview camera is not properly displaying an image and can increase the risk of a crash, according to the NHTSA. The repair is under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 20. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 800-867-7669.

Hyundai recalls three automobiles

Hyundai Motor of America is recalling the 2023 Genesis GV60 and 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6.

According to the NHTSA, the rear inner driveshaft may have been improperly heat-treated, allowing it to break and resulting in a loss of drive power. Dealers will replace the rear inner driveshaft for free. About 1,165 vehicles are impacted by the recall and notification letters are expected to be mailed by March 25.

Owners can contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's numbers for this recall are 253(H) and 017G(G).

Kia recalls 2024 Tellurides

Kia America is recalling 2,872 2024 Telluride vehicles because engine valve springs may break while driving.

According to the NHTSA. The break can result in a loss of drive power and possibly create a hole in the engine block and increase the risk of a fire.

Dealers will replace the engine sub-assembly for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 5. Owners may contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542. Kia's number for this recall is SC296.
