Will Powerball make you a multimillionaire on the night before Super Bowl Sunday? In just over one month, the jackpot soared from $20 million after a New Year’s Day win to the current pot.

After no one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball in the Wednesday, Feb. 7, drawing for $228 million, the grand prize climbed to $248 million for Saturday, Feb. 10, aka the day before America's unofficial holiday, Super Bowl Sunday. Super Bowl 58 pits the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on CBS.

Anyone want to bet? If Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl 58, will Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce go to Disney World?

Saturday's Powerball numbers were 27-28-34-37-44 and the Powerball was 8. Power Play was 2x. Those numbers mean another rollover.

The Monday, post-Super Bowl Powerball jackpot now climbs to $270 million, with a cash option of $130.4 million.

There were two big winners from Saturday's drawing. Tickets purchased in Georgia and Kansas each matched 5 for a $1 million prize.

In case you're wondering, Wednesday numbers were 12-21-62-67-69 and the Powerball was 17. Power Play was 3x. Though it rolled over, there was one big winner from Wednesday night's drawing. A ticket purchased in Georgia matched 5 numbers for a $1 million prize.

Though the jackpot has rolled over since Jan. 1, there have been some recent secondary winners from Florida.

In the Saturday, Jan. 20, drawing, there was one big winner from here. The winning ticket was a Quick Pick purchased from Publix, 2414 W. 60th St., Hialeah. That ticket matched 5 numbers for a $1 million prize.

And while someone in Michigan became a multimillionaire overnight on New Year's Day, winning a very big payout of $842.4 million, there were two secondary winners in Florida. One matched five numbers plus the Power Play to win $2 million, and the other matched five numbers to win $1 million. The $2 million winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Publix, 10928 Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa, and the $1 million Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Publix, 1537 NW St. Lucie West Blvd., Port St. Lucie, according to the Florida Lottery.

To claim a single-payment cash option, a winner has within the first 60 days after the applicable draw date to claim it. Once the applicable time period has elapsed, the related Florida Lottery ticket will expire."

If a Grand Prize goes unclaimed, the money must be returned to all lotteries in proportion to their sales for the draw run. The lotteries then distribute the money, based on their own jurisdiction's laws, to other lottery games or to their jurisdiction's general fund, or otherwise as required by law."
